Totally agree. The creativity is still there, it just shifted to the latest medium that's easily available. Nobody could make cheap quick videos back before iphones and certainly couldn't view them easily on the web until YouTube

You can still track users just fine without Flash - the VPAID spec calls for allowing cross-domain "Friendly" scripting access, which is horrible for users.[1] The only problem with Javascript adoption was the availability of Java

They shouldn't be emailing around "highly confidential brokerage account information" in the first place. It should be locked down in some internal system. Poor practice from GS that caused it all in the first place.
