I literally said a room in a shared house. no one is spending $4k on a room in SF. You're not renting an entire apartment for $1200 anywhere livable in a large metro in WA or NV.

What's expensive about living in SF these days? You can fairly easily find a room in a shared house for pretty cheap, and you don't need a car. I don't really see how moving out of state somewhere where you might rent a place

Well, no. No VC who wants anything to do with OpenAI would invest in Ilya. Ilya represents the anti-OpenAI ethos. So it would only be a VC who would be comfortable publicly being an anti-OpenAI VC, which is not that many.
