Just use a Google Sheets or other online doc and a normal scale. It's so much faster in my experience to use a normal scale, read the number, then pop open the sheet (it can be a direct link on your homescreen) and type in the weight

From what I saw it's part of the company culture. Managers were there late so of course their subordinates didn't want to leave and be seen as not working as hard. Also there's no concept of overtime with salaried fulltime e

Your interpretation is wrong, I've been to Uber's office in SF and its dinners are big trays of catered food brought in late in the evening. They're dumped in the kitchens and employees who are still working can come by to g

Nitpick but your request is most likely not going to space. You're going to a cell tower that's at most a mile away from you, and that tower is probably linked with fiber and copper to all the routers on the net. Even if for som

Not in San Francisco or the Silicon Valley area. Median home prices are well over $1m. That's not even enough for 20% down on a mortgage.

For 16:8 fasting it's just water (I like using a sodastream to make seltzer water) and black coffee. Maybe a tea if I want to mix something up. Never any sugar, cream or other things added to coffee/tea. For the 72 hour fasts i

Yeah some studies show exercise in a fasted state increases adrenaline and human growth hormone production, so it's kind of like getting natural steroids. :) It also helps train your muscles to burn fat for energy which is great for e

I do daily 16:8 fasting (only eat from noon-8pm) and keep things paleo/low carb when eating. Recently I've tried some extended 72-hour fasts and really like them too. The big thing for me is that I love exercising in a fasted st

Rainier is awesome and a worthy endeavor for anyone but it's 14k feet vs. 28k feet and a whole other ballgame. To put it in perspective base camp for Everest is at 17k feet--well above the whole summit of Rainier. Or another way to t

People have been drinking carbonated water for over a hundred years now (maybe even two hundred years actually). If there was a strong link between carbonation and damage to your body we would have seen it by now.

Actually OBD on moderns cars is pretty much useless, it only reports the basic federally mandated emissions info for e-checks and that's it. All the fun stuff is on CAN and other often proprietary buses.

Eat low carb when you're feasting. I.e. stop eating sugar and grains that make your body crave and depend on them for energy all the time. Get off the insulin rush rollercoaster.

Train while fasted, you'll feel amazing trust me. I do a 16:8 daily fast too and do regular HIIT and strength training while fasted (in the morning). In the fasted state your body is producing more adrenaline and HGH which helps with

Looking at my cell phone bill I use far more data than I do actual voice a month. It's kind of an anachronism to call it a phone anymore. It's a pocket computer.

Let's be honest though, no one is going through the trouble to port their app to Windows 10 only HTML and JS. I don't think MS has even talked about that stack at their recent developer conferences.
