This is so heartbreaking, my heart stopped when reading this email. I was a HUGE fan of SQL Saturdays and I became a great pro with Power BI/SQL thanks to SQL Saturday and the outstanding network PASS provided...

My boycott of the Macbook "Pro" will continue until they add additional I/O ports (including HDMI and standard USB ports) and until they add a num pad (a big reason I've stuck with Windows over the years).

I work in the enterprise payments space that functions on ftp transfers of xml, edi and text files and it's not necessarily a bad thing, just as long as it works. Much easier to troubleshoot why you got bad data if you have a ftp to lo

Great perspective, but I think a service like Apple News would run into a PR nightmare if they blocked NYT articles.. Probably bring up 1st amendment issues as well.

I mean with all this publicity they will probably be switching providers or sending in a complaint to Sedgewick, but they aren't micromanaging carpal tunnel workers comp claims that make up 1/100000th of their revenue.
