That's honestly more a question for physicists and chemists. Biologists in my experience take a lot for granted because they don't really understand the fundamentals on small scales.

It should be fairly simple to take the original price of installing the components of the house and calculate depreciation. Non-improved value = market value - depreciated home value Obviously you'd have to keep tracking the improvem
