Could this be used to grade routes? It would be cool if a photo or short video of a route could be used to better assist in grading climbing routes. Grading is a massively subjective thing, to some extent, so this could be super tricky.

I was going to say the same thing. Seems like a lot of art focused vector programs aren't as rigorous with their polygons as a CAD program. But, I suppose it is just a matter of the level of detail the end use demands.

Tools for sure, power and hand. Aside from a voltage regulating circuit most power tools are super simple, make a thing spin to cut other things. I also love using proper hand tools like a plane or hand saw.

Traffic engineer here. Generally there is a hierarchy of roads called functional class. It goes local street - collector - minor arterial - major arterial - freeway. From local to freeway the speeds increase and the land access decreases. G
