Well, I've found and read the source for the DSP part. The small OS on the modem processor on my current phone actually is open source, and hardly use the modem anyway since I've switched to VOIP for voice and SMS/MMS.

Yup. This happened to me two years ago. Thankfully I hardly used them for anything important. They started freaking me out years ago and I've moved to self host everything. People still send emails to my gmail address, including my own

A type DNS records are used for looking up IPv4 addresses, AAAA records are for IPv6. This effectively takes Reddit off of the IPv6 internet and is a bit of a step backward.
