Sorry, didn't mean to come over completely negative. I appreciate the work that's gone in to Spark and it's clearly well designed. Developing with Spark after coming from a Hadoop background was a very refreshing experience.

Just as another datapoint, I used to keep a couple of virtual machines at Linode. After seeing how they acted after their security breaches, I left for DigitalOcean. I've also recommended DO over Linode to other people for that reason.

The 8GB ram limit on the X1 and X250 is still pretty crazy. I have virtually no reason to upgrade from my X220 (i5 2410, 8GB/SSD+HD) unless it breaks. Sad.
