Thanks for the q (I work at Deepnote) - all outputs that can contain potentially malicious JS are sandboxed in iframes so they can only access their local context and can't be used e.g. for XSS attacks.

Author here, thanks for the feedback! I fully agree - if I were to start a new project today, I would most certainly use an existing design system and tweak it. We actually did use an existing system/framework at start called ant.desig

I like Integromat ( https://www.integromat.com ), it's Zapier on steroids, hitting the sweet spot for developers. The minor downside is that it can take time to get used to the whole layout and the concept of connecting apps
