Why not just use something like Google Meet? You send a link and the other person just needs a browser. It's a pain to deal with syncing issues on Signal Desktop.

Reminds me of issues I had with the Wahoo Elemnt Bolt bike computer: For some weird reason it cannot charge if you plug the other end of the USB-C cord to a Apple made charger. It works with all other USB-C wall bricks. Never understood wha

Given the popularity of QR codes now, I wonder if it makes sense for it to just be supported directly in HTML as a type of element. <qrcode>Some content!</qrcode> With necessary browser/device level support to automati

Take documents for example. You can have go/feature1-design-doc that points to a Google doc with the design discussion for feature 1. No need to find it on Google Drive (where the title may or may not follow consistent patterns) or rem

Brilliant work! Wish I was a Mac user. For the hyperlinks, it seems editing the text and visiting the link is easy. But there isn’t a way to edit the hyperlink itself quickly? Have you considered using affinity cursor along the up/down

Hmm. How would this work for regular non-tech savvy users? I doubt regular customers know what a MAC address is.

Agreed! Snap can't even update snap-store because it is running in the background. There is no way for a non-tech savvy person to even figure out how to get past that error.

I've actually put my Yubikeys through worse. They've always survived :) These were the larger ones. Not sure how the smaller "nano" ones would perform.

I wanted to record Jeopardy everyday. A Tivo subscription was too expensive, so I built my own DVR software to record from Locast. Worked like a charm until Locast shut down. I had to replace it with a bunch of cron jobs + shell scripts whi

I believe that permission is only needed for the Find My App itself (so that it can display the map correctly centered w.r.t where you are). I don't think it affects finding that device from other devices.
