Genuine question, in that scenario what should you write the logs to if you wanted to keep the files locally on the car? I understand EMMC/Flash is a bad idea, but what is the better approach, a HDD/SSD?

Nice this is awesome! Well done. Once you have everything in NMEA it really does become very easy to integrate with other marine hardware/software. Literally everything runs on it :)

This is true, Dutchies tend to hate overtime and often in the elevator at 16:59. but there are of course exceptions. The Netherlands is a great place to work though :)
