It’s great that this can run on a laptop but FWIW, llama 70B model is no where near “GPT-4 class” in my own use cases. 405B might be, though I haven’t tested it.

I've run into many of the problems mentioned with Apple Feedback and gave up on using them many years ago. It's pretty disheartening when you spend a bunch of time getting an OS crashing bug to reproduce in a small amount of code

That might be right, but I'm not familiar enough with early Smalltalk to say. Self was a bigger inspiration than Smalltalk.

This is so true. On modern sports cars (like the Audi R8 and Ferrari 458), it feels like they injected the steering rack with Novocain. Try driving a pre-1995 sports car if you want to get a feel for the difference.
