I've deleted my PayPal account last year and haven't regretted it. Admittedly it helped a lot that I live in Norway now where everyone uses Vipps (which is so much better), and PayPal is not a thing at all.

Has anyone been able to steer Claude so that it doesn't use this kind of vocabulary and super verbose code comments? We use it at work and the language and verbosity has been one of the most annoying things.

How many of the learnings over the past two years went into the prompt that you gave the model? Is it possible that you wouldn't have been able to prompt it so well without those learnings?

My sweet spot is the same. I like being at the office (because I like my colleagues), but with almost an hour commute each way, going every day is very draining. I'm glad my employer is giving us pretty much total flexibility.

Finally deleted my PayPal account last summer and have not regretted it. Though I now live in Norway and everyone uses Vipps here anyway.

I moved from Germany to Norway and it would be awesome if they could integrate with each other. I have yet to find a way to transfer money between my Norwegian bank account and my Revolut account without substantial fees (on top of currency

Unfortunately, it doesn't work like that. Third-party app calls don't go to the Watch. It's so annoying, I have to tell people to call me using regular phone calls or FaceTime instead of using Signal or WhatsApp because I alw

I knew that ~/Applications exists, but never really used it until I started at my new job where I didn’t have admin permissions by default. Now I’ve configured Homebrew to install casks into ~/Applications and it works for almost

Great idea! One other thing that annoys me is the inability to trim workouts, mostly walking workouts which I forgot to stop. Even when the Apple Watch asks you if you want to end the workout, it doesn’t cut off the end where nothing happen

Yes please. My new job just provided me with a new phone, but all the models are just too big. I guess I’ll get used to it, but I’d rather have the current features in a Mini body.

I'd be happy with a new mini even every third generation. My 12 mini is still great except for the battery life (even after getting a new battery less than a year ago).

How do you like biking 3 hours a day? I'm starting a new job next year that requires me to be at the office most days. It's 40-50 minutes each way by bus or about an hour (if you're fast or with an e-bike) by bicycle, and I&#

I guess Europe isn't nearly as bad as the US. My portfolio (and probably my actual skills) are nowhere close to what some of those in the comments that can't find a job are offering, but I was able to secure a job in Trondheim, No

Hi, I had your intro video suggested to me on YouTube and it looks pretty cool. However, neither the videos nor the website answers my most critical question: Is it fully local, or is there a cloud involved? Thanks!

Which was an about 10x increase from the original price. Sure, it was definitely underpriced back then, but it was still a... let's say bold move.

When did you try it and do you have an idea why it could have happened? I'm simply curious about it, but this doesn't sound great. I found this issue [1] which should have been fixed in version 1.1.1 [2]. [1]: https://g

Same, I used Apple Pay in Germany before it was officially launched there and people were very surprised that I could just pay with my Watch. Contactless payment was already becoming more prevalent, so it worked in a lot of places.
