I will agree with this. I would prefer to find a fit rather than fit in. And this does not mean being obstinate, but rather pursuing only what I find interesting rather than what most people find interesting.

I understand from where you are coming from. But the very point that it takes a lot of effort to be "extrovertable" is an issue. I have tried this and on the weekends where i "extroverted" myself, I feel pretty exhausted

:) I will take the risk of passing an unsolicited advice: Explore all but do engage deeply in at least a few of your interests. Leads to a much more fulfilling(in hindsight) college life in midst of all the distractions you shall encounter
