Untested on Linux? Seems rather silly since Linux is the easiest to test on. It is free and installs wo a license in a VM. Guess I wont be the ginny pig.

Herman Miller Aeron. Cost me $800, which may be considered expensive. It is about 14 years old and working great making it rather cheap.

Why is he using disqus for primary content? If I want to see the discussion, I'll turn disqus on. When the primary content is hidden like this, I just go elsewhere.

I have nothing against grandmothers, but I think of Windows as an OS designed for grandmothers. Everything has to be 'easy enough for one's grandmother'. There is nothing wrong with that. But I am, just a bit, beyond that

Instead of a motorized desk, use a second cheap computer. Put it on a fixed standing desk. Learn to use tmux, screen, or remote desktop protocol. Use them to operate your real computer which is in front of your chair equipped desk.

I still have a Compac 450 workstation that probably would blow up if I turned it on. Got it from BBN when I worked there. Many of the others back then died this death. The thing is a tank! Which is mostly the reason I still have it.

I read this until the guy said he used 'notepad' to write articles. Notepad? Really? He is a professional writer? Reading on was not worth my time.
