   47 miles one way. I time my commute to miss the bulk of traffic and on average it takes me 60 minutes. I also WFH 1-2 times per week and have a carpool partner. I'm in Silicon Valley and my commute is on the upper range of normal.

   I think a majority of places will see your contribution as a positive thing. A few will not, but you probably don't want to work for those places anyway. I think the more conservative the company is, the more likely they will be to loo
