Yup. I have an adblocker, but after the first answer (which was crap) I got a link to the question "What is jam made from?" and then got prompted with a modal to prompt me to make an account. Never again.

I have personal experience of a few companies in the UK where GCP are offering 90+% discounts to onboard. GCP are spending hundreds of millions to do this. K8S control-planes are a rounding error compared to this. You could have grandfather

I've not had the same issue on my Thinkpad X1C6. I think I installed TLP and Powertop but the battery life is better than Windows for my use case.

Yeah, Google's SSO is fine unless the first logged-in account (/u/0) is one with a redirect to a company portal login. At which point you have to manipulate the URL to get to a different account.

Same happened to me. However, I did do a support request which 2 days later agreed to let me in without a phone number. 2 days. I think we can file this under 'dark patterns' and finally realise Twitter is attempting to be as abus

I think around 8 hours from 100% to turn off. Bear in mind the battery is 2 years old. I don't tend to have the screen too bright (live in the UK), Bluetooth disabled etc. Also I spend most of my life in Firefox / SSH / VSCod
