OK it defaulted to UDP, got nothing, changed to TCP, got nothing. Will change it back and try again. I will also double check the port number.

I have also hopped to Qwant / DDG for their proxied Bing search. Keeping that in mind, doing a !s bang is probably better privacy-wise (bonus - you get the same results) vs a !g bang, even if it is no longer as good as it was.
