people have been using ad blockers for years, which probably prompted showing the more annoying ads. the option is use an adblocker or buy premium. if people are unwilling to do either, then just don't use the platform.

But that’s too much work. I’d rather do nothing, and just complain about it

Does it matter. 70% of something is better than 100% of nothing.

Yeah but if uhh if I could add it to a device that I already wear and it monitors passively that’s a game changer. I’d effectively be able to have it checked more often and while I’m asleep so as someone else said I can see what might be in

It already is. And it’s actually pretty good. It’s not there for multiplayer (least to me) but single player games are absolutely fine now. Xcloud is pretty good and people say GeForce now is even better.

If you’re a fan of a popular artist you should probably expect to pay this. Not sure if that’s the case here but tickets are usually more affordable at first but then they get scalped instantly. It’s most of the reason I haven’t gone to a c

What kind of mental gymnastics? You think you’re entitled to use a service with an adblocker instead of the service they offer supported by ads/subscription? So you just want to use a service for free?

Idk what this has to do with the issue though. I mean sure wait on launch for bugs, but how often you upgrade a phone is irrelevant. In the last 6 you get 5g, 120hz, usb c, more ram.

Waze is a decent alternative, if not mostly for the community driven aspect of it. Sometimes it’s too aggressive to save 1-2 minutes but it knows tolls , when they’re open, and just as accurate if not more than google maps at times

While I use an iPhone and would recommend it , you could easily get a phone like the pixel , one plus , etc that support lineageos or other 3rd party roms and that will keep support years after the vendor does. I will probably go that route

The feature they’re referring to , the phone won’t even ring and send the caller straight to voicemail. You won’t know you got the call unless you happen to be looking at the screen.

I don’t think this indicative of chrome being bad on Mac. What did you try to resolve the issue? Because I could say chrome always works for me (which would be true in my experience), but that doesn’t mean it always does.

The reception of 10 was pretty good and a step in the right direction from the tablet/desktop aio that was 8 and 8.1. Plus it was free and didn’t have as many restriction to upgrade as say 11. It was a challenge for enterprise but peop

I finally ended up setting up my own router with opnsense which you can do for pretty cheap. Either a pc with two ports, a vm on a server if you are into that , or going dedicated hardware like mentioned above. If you really want to underst

Can’t push an app with a 3rd party store as an option. Can’t install outside the AppStore. I think the argument for some regulation is fair. The mobile space is restrictive at the end of the day and users lose because of it.

I don't think so, least in part. Spotify is continuously petty against apple (for good reason) but their users always have to pay the price and not have features or get them super late. The Spotify app on an Android is pretty good and
