    there are a few alternate web user interfaces that work with the Mastodon client API (which Pleroma also implements); halcyon and pinafore being two of them. To be more specific, Halcyon's UI is Twitter-clone.

    Interestingly enough, this is the same key combo used to show information on a crash in several N64 games, including Doubutsu no Mori (the original N64 version of Animal Crossing).

    MS's compiler is annoying, it'll only support anything more modern than ANSI C if you give your files a .cpp extension...

    Huh. I assumed Boot Guard was a thing that happened in the IntelME bootrom. I guess I'm too used to similar things in game consoles.

    That bug described requires modifying the ME firmware image, which Boot Guard prevents...

    With regards to mastodon, there's at least one hosting service specifically for it already ( https://masto.host ), and people who don't know that much about the Linux command line/etc have set up their own instances
