It shouldn't have to be a wake up call. Employees should understand that you don't use work devices for personal stuff. I've seen so many people get fired because they were caught looking at pr0n on their work computer/p

Not only this, but google and amazon both already scan the stuff you upload to their clouds for the same thing, they just do it on their server. The theory I've heard for Apple doing it on device instead of the server is that its cheap

No idea, but I know it's a self defeating cycle. I started blocking ads because they were getting annoying, I'm sure many other do the same.

the point of measuring that in calories is that it should be roughly equivalent amount of energy intake for both things. the biggest difference is going to be you need less chocolate to reach 2000 calories

I would also argue that part of the reason for the escalation of ads is spread of ad blocking. They have fewer users they can monetize, so they have to monetize those users more.

thats like the good, cheap, fast triangle. the reason you can't find something that meets all three of your requirements is that you only get to pick two. if its quality and its ad free, someone has to pay for that quality somewhere so

in a lot of areas of the US, you can't and telco's won't run a wire. my sister lives an hour outside of phoenix. her dsl was down for days and Verizon told her that not enough people in her area had complained for them to do

Apple only controls 50% of the market because consumers keep buying their products. They are free to chose android, there are even plenty of androids phones are comparable in build quality and specs.
