I never did any digital painting in Krita, I use it only for basic image editing and it can do all I wanted to do with Paint.net. Should I care that an app can do more than what I use it for, if it stays out of the way?

Krita is what I use. Pinta just had a lot of broken UX and it didn't behave the way I expected. Krita is closer to Photoshop, but having extra features is not a problem. I'm pretty sure anything you'd do in paint.net you can

I've seen it a lot in Spain as well. I guess it's a combination of just being the reverse of OK, and also "KO" meaning "knocked out" just feels like the opposite of OK.

Plenty of smartwatches are relatively thin and have vibration, and it only uses up battery when it's used. There's no excuse except they probably just wanted to cut costs.

The way I imagine it is like the calendars are both rulers that are slightly off from each other. We were using one ruler, and at a certain point we went from using one to the other, so our "present" was never mapped to those date

It's interesting that we're so used to the GUI buttons having that specific behavior of only triggering when releasing, even if you exit and enter the button area while holding the mouse button down, etc. IRL 99%+ of buttons work

That's not true, there's a lot to be done on the exterior as well, the main entrance is not even finished yet. The big achievement that happened recently is they completed the towers, so it finally reached its target height. Also

What's the experience with Font Forge for creating pixel fonts? I have never used it but I always assumed that a font creation tool made for arbitrary style "vector" fonts is probably unwieldy if all you want is square pixels

The quick way I'd solve that is to open any program window (like calculator or whatever), mark it as being on top of other windows, and resize it and place it on top of that area. It seems quick and easy enough for the effort.
