there is no marketing etc in this book. it is by far the best book on the topic. it covers only bitcoin, i.e. no etherium/smartcontracts etc, but it does that really well. and in fact all the other blockchains are more or less the same

wow! this is awesome! I especially like that you can pass compiler options, like -O3 and see the magic :) I wish I had something like that back in the days when I was optimizing crap out of my code

main reason is very hard to do something manually and at the same time virtually no authoring tools everything else is just a consequence of those

I could not actually find any such differences when doing segmentation by geo location. So I don't think that's enough to explain it.

until recently we had JS scripting support in the editor, i.e. you could write logic in JS and attach it to various UI elements etc. we disabled it about one month ago because of major JS API overhaul. we will enable it back in about one mo

unfortunately firefox is really slow these days. try it in chrome or safari, it's night and day difference in speed

greensock is a JS library, you need to code animations, while Animatron is authoring tool, i.e. you create animations visually without coding.
