I’m not disagreeing with that statement at all. You missed my point that there are thousands of people making small Python scripts for education and personal projects everyday. In those circumstances the performance concerns are irrelevant

The explanation is quite good but is there even more detail on what the assembly instructions are doing on a line by line basis? I’ve only written MIPS assembly and that was a long time ago.

That's not necessarily true. Most people in electric RC hobbies use Lithium batteries without any form of protection circuitry on the battery or cells themselves. The fire rate in the hobby is very low.
