   It goes beyond that: what we call technology is inherently "abstraction of service", (ultimately all of which is related to boiling water for some reason???) and at a certain point too many layers of abstraction is more complicate

   The problem isn't the internet but rather the sites that people use on it, and the monolithic nature of "social media". Social media will be viewed as a failed experiment in the future.
