I understand what you mean and I've tried a few but haven't found something that's out of the box geared to dev the way Omarchy is, hence kept at it. Will keep an eye out in general for alternatives as much as I love Omarchy.

but isn't this open source? where is the capitalist marketing angle coming in with the distro? minus the automatic basecamp setup which is one command uninstall away, no?

yea totally, in fact I felt these smaller creators have a great aesthetic to their videos - much slower than your usual heavily edited videos :)

that's a whole different story too - storage is still manageable but taking up huge chunks of RAM means the daily usage can get affected easily.
