It seems more like a basic instruction set, that will then be translated to something actionable for each different device. Seems like most of the work then will be in developing the drivers for whatever devices you want the LLM to access.

My guess is its almost exclusively due to the reference its making to the similarly titled Onion article. The actual article linked is basically a cut and paste replacing gun violence with memory vulnerabilities.

They are likely referring to religious fundamentalists, mostly evangelical Christians. Puritans is a reference to an older christian fundamentalist group in the US that now have a connotation as extreme in their views.
