Title of the post is not really about a breakthrough by AI but a human breakthrough plus an ongoing dispute where the authors claim OpenAI trained on their private chats and then tried to claim the proof as their own. Something like “Trista

In omp you can also have the advisor role, which is off by default, you can enable it with /advisor command. It acts as a model that reviews the default agent's work in the background. I am omp pilled, but as the other comments sa

A part of my brain can’t process acquiring a Mac Mini M5 Pro knowing that they sell M6 despite being aware that it is just a weaker processor. It will get worse with the MacBook ultra rocking a M5 too. Apple’s marketing department is gonna

'They are an environmental catastrophe' This for me the main source of concern. I am having a blast vibe coding. I understand my job is at risk. But I am totally oblivious to the fact that they are accelerating climate change.

I did it, it’s possible. It’s also a terrible experience. Pixelated. Laggy. Can’t see where the keyboard is… it’s half baked. I can work max one hour then I give up.

I keep on hearing it’s a flop, but where I live, Switzerland, they don’t sell it. So I can’t really say. And I am not even talking about the badly taken product decisions for such a great headset but… how can they get devs onboarded for an

There is absolutely no evidence at all. Apple is going to loose this. The beef is real, and though Tim is acting CEO till the 1st of September I am ready to bet anything that the order to sue comes from Ternus. Specially considering that th

This is John Ternus having a beef with Tang Tan. It’s widely known they both competed for the role of CEO. Tim Cook would never have started this. It shows a level of pettiness and arrogance which I never expected to see from Apple. I can’t

Thanks for SimpleX it looks like a great solution for a longstanding problem. Why would you not trust Jolla? It was born from Nokia employees. GrapheneOS is a great alternative. Still Android though.

I would say 3.5 flash is great if you use a good open harness. I use omp for that. The thing with Google is that they announce they have a great model, and that they have been testing it internally for half a year. I guess they don't c

I am on the opposite camp. Open models are starting to perform better. GPT 5.5 keeps on messing things up. On the contrary, pi + glm + DeepSeek… bliss. Fable was a different kind of beast though. Rip.
