Agreed, but the ownership of the physical games has its own satisfaction. I'm in the process of selling about 300 retro console games mostly because when I play an old game I'm likely to emulate it on my phone than hook up the rea

I think fosstodon.org is trying to be a social network for tech people, but it federates a lot of non tech stuff, so it's a mixed bag in that regard. I recently joined it so still figuring it out, social media isn't my strong suit

ZTE Axon M phone is as you described, but it didn't really catch on. Reviewers of the device did not like the gap from the bezels. I think it hit a sort of uncanny Valley of a gap that the Nintendo DS didn't hit.

This seems like a real missed opportunity to build on systems that already work. I'd love to see these open systems like nntp come back. I hope someone puts in the effort to make them competitive in the modern technology world.

I'm very surprised that Sphinx wasn't listed. It powers readthedocs.org and is generally very popular for software documentation.

This article is not particularly useful. I like space and space tech, but this article just declares something to exist and doesn't go into any interesting details. I might as well read a press release from the chinese space agency.

I'm disappointed that I can't C-x 3 to have web pages side-by-side, but I really, really like being able to switch between tabs with C-x b. I think I'll be giving this some time.
