Elon already promised a ~$25k "Model 2" car within 3 years about a year ago, and the icon at Battery Day made it look like a compact car. Though with Elon-time maybe tack on another year.

There's been a bunch of small miscues on the broadcast (weird delays, music coming in too loud and at weird times, etc). We've been spoiled by SpaceX's experience broadcasting. Regardless, so awesome that everyone is broadcas

Big pharma is not going to be pushing for shrooms, LSD, etc. Many studies show these substances can have curative effects after a single use, which means no more money for them. Things like Ketamine that need to be taken more often are far

Except for developers starting out, it's 15% to Apple or Google if you're making under 1 million. I'm very confused why Amazon changed their cut and are still above the big players (unless you value AWS credits 1:1 with dolla

Every time a recruiter (especially internal) reaches out to me lately about "remote until after Covid" I politely tell them I have no intention of ever being forced back into an office every week and good luck with their search. H

FWIW, that's double the federal minimum wage. I'm mostly pointing out how absolutely absurd our minimum wage is.

The rumors are indeed that Touch Bar won't be on the new 14 and 16in either. I won't miss it, but I certainly don't mind it.

The first half of your original sentence is a fact, but the second half is your opinion and likely what the downvotes are about.

I do the same. I won't take a call from recruiters until they tell me the company name and salary range. Both are like pulling teeth with some of the shitty recruiters out there! I'm pretty happy with my good mission, fairly cush

Can you explain why you think it's a better product? Genuinely curious as I haven't done much comparison myself.

Agreed, I always took my friends and family there when we they visited. It's such a cute and unique little place: the vault, the book tunnel, the book hole to take pictures through (though often with a line heh), the vending machines f

Personally, I think 80% of the reason it skyrocketed was for the short squeeze, 20% because of the new team and it being undervalued if you believed in that new team. $30-$40 seems reasonable if you believe the team is gonna turn the compan

Time to embrace "y'all"! But seriously, that's pretty heavy handed IMO to tell you that you can't use "you guys". Encourage? Sure! But not allowed seems a bit far to me.

I get hit with these constantly because I'm a US based Toptal freelancer. "Hey, if you take the meetings and let us use your account, we'll do all the work and give you 20%!".
