I know people who aren't nerds and actually like to know what's in the update. Just ask a LLM to write a high level human-friendly description of the changes. That's it. Just be good to your customers or in general to others.

If there's no meaningful reward or punishment for keeping or leaking PII, companies won't do anything about it. They'll keep collecting sensitive inf unless they're educated or forced not to collect unnecessary PII.
