Thanks, I've always wondered under which conditions BSD networking performs better compared to Linux. It's the number of simultaneous streams as opposed to raw bandwidth for fewer streams.

With the sheer number of outdated devices still in use, one wonders what the real world rates of hacks look like. I don't think that the two are linearly proportional at all unless individuals or groups are being specifically targeted.
