The simplest example being a stack buffer that expands to a heap allocation when required. There is an API pattern to facilitate this: when the size of the provided "out" buffer is insufficient to hold the result, return an approp

I have Sol do that for me and it does a decent job. When I ask Opus to rewrite its own prose the results are not much improved.

The New Yorker may be pretentious but it's generally not unreadable like Opus.

Seconded, and also using Sol to clean up Opus logorrhea.

I would also have instinctively reached for a large VM reservation to exploit demand paging. I have used that pattern a lot in C++ but not in Rust, so I don't know how difficult it would be to implement there.

If this unbounded state were asymptotic then it wouldn't be unphysical, but a freely falling particle reaches the singularity in finite time. A freely falling observer crossing the event horizon could in principle perform this measurem

Unfortunately that seems like a question for AWS support. I'm not sure they'd be willing to document a formula.

I don't believe that annexing Canada is really a MAGA issue, even though they may claim to support it. I think it's just an inexplicable Trumpian obsession like Greenland.

The curvature scalar can be physically evaluated by measuring the volume of a small ball of freely falling test particles and comparing to its volume in flat spacetime. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scalar_curvature#Rel
