I saw a post on reddit recently where OP said a potential buyer was asking to see the code of his app and he was afraid the guy might “copy” his project. Honestly I find this a bit funny, especially now with AI when anyone can vibecode a co

Hey everyone, My wife and I are working on a job search tool. Yeah I know ... a lot of them popping up lately. So how is this one different from all the others? First of all it's a job board aggregator. We initially got the idea for it

Can't speak for myself since I haven't had to search for a job since the market went downhill, but my wife started exactly at the same time. Her experience has been dreadful, looking for a junior dev position fully remote nowadays

Thanks, makes sense for the free tier use cases. Regarding Proton, it's kinda hard to compete with them since they are a really well established company, but in case of a one man show, someone else could easily copy the product and sta

No idea how it was before, but trying to build an AppX file from scratch in electron and having it approved in the store in still a pain in the ass

Surprisingly, a lot of issues with the icons that are packaged in the AppX. I pretty much had to get comfortable with the manifest to get it working
