No they aren't. It's just their Dev Mode feature which really hasn't been all that useful in my experience. For those who don't pay for Dev Mode, they'll revert to something like the Inspect mode they had previously

Cars are quickly becoming luxury goods again. Cars sold today are much more difficult to repair on your own than they were 20 years ago. Not to mention the cost of parts.

Who said anything about taking away cars? However it shouldn't be necessary for me to walk in a ditch along a high speed road with no sidewalk just to get to the grocery that is less than half a mile away.

Elk is amazing. Even running it as my primary client on mobile. Really shows how good PWAs can be. One of my favorite features is the built-in code highlighting.

Many of Ive's initial designs of products were fantastic and great examples of Dieter Ram's principles of design. Unfortunately I think he drank a bit too much of his own kool-aid and "innovated" on the original designs
