Yes, mob rules, I get it. But this is exactly the problem with the PC crowd.

That's neat. If it's just a few microamps, I wonder if they could create a mouthguard to remineralize your teeth while you sleep?

SJW's are authoritarian, much like distasteful right-wingers. These people are like a secular version of the Christian Right.

Ultimately Uber is doomed. Being first to market is great for building a brand, but the barrier to entry is so low for this manner of service that eventually they'll succumb to death by a thousand competitors.

I'm really tired of all the internet kids plugging nuclear. The numbers don't work, and the cost of failure is huge. We can put solar on everyone's roof and turbines in windy areas and it's completely safe, dumb nuts s

The salty beer you're referring to is called Gose. It's a salty sour (lemony tart) ale of low alcohol that was brewed in the summertime, starting in the early 16th century. Along with the electrolytes that plants crave, the brew

According to Wikipedia the Model S only shares 30% of it's parts with the Model X. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tesla_Model_X#Specifications

Lutz is right about cost cutting. The Model X is a boondoggle; even Musk admitted they over engineered it, and they should have made the rear doors optional for those who want a roof rack. A huge benefit of ev's was supposed to be the

Patents are one of many market controls that keep capitalism from destroying itself. They are, of course, abused like many things.

I just moved out of a place I'd lived for 5 years that turned out to have black mold. I've had weird digestive issues and my immune system has gone to shit since living there but I wasn't aware of the mold problem and didn&#

If you look up his father's history, it's pretty clear that this entire "controversy" was likely manufactured at the kid's expense.

Considering we have a serious homeless and housing problem in the Bay Area and wages outside of tech aren't keeping up with the cost of living I'm not going to feel sad for this guy. Respect the thrifty, but sad? No fuckin way.

I agree, but I'm not sure we can afford to wait ~5+ years for self driving cars; on the other hand that's probably how long it'll take to build more subways, at a minimum. Whatever is done it needs to be done immediately.

Step 1. Release autonomous cars to market with lower incidence rate than humans. Step 2. Sit back and watch humans cause accidents; insurance for human drivers goes thru the roof. Step 3. ??? Step 4. Skynet.

The problem with the Fire Phone isn't the hardware, the hardware is great, the problem is Fire OS. No one wants a half baked Android fork and a walled garden. My wife purchased the Fire Phone during their last promotion, and within 1
