   I think the best course of action is to still do the interviews, but ask the potential employer for a late start date. Personally I took about 4 months off after I finished classes. I arranged the start date of my job to be early September

   To extend to this, when I was in college, my grades suffered because of my unnecessary internet usage (reddit, hn, facebook, all that stuff). So after failing to keep up my promise, I decided to actually leave my laptop at home which is 4+
