I'm wondering if there is another significant variable here. I'd assume there that most of the other countries on the list would also have kids that have youtube and and increased screen times for kids.

Sure - but imagine someone doesn't have your drive or experiences of studying being an opportunity climb upwards. IMO, individuals that are lacking your desire + intentionality would benefit from this.

Wouldn't this be better if we just picked the hour record for running?[1] Coincidentally it's right at 21km/hr! :) 1. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_hour_run

Usually CTO == Chief Technology Officer, not Chief Technical Officer. But an amusing slip of the tongue that kinda works out! :)

Do you have any details on your decision log? I'm curious what details you add to it. I guess it'd have fields like date, decision made, options considered, and who approved the decision.

Doesn't look like it's actually being shut down. Just a re-org under Jeff Dean and some other leaders? It could have just been a leadership issue, but I don't want to suggest that Google has given up on Health altogether.

I just got an email from them as well. They seem to be a pretty legitimate company (YC W15), but definitely curious if they just cast a really wide net.

Can confirm, I'd be one of these people. The amount of time that I spend trying to configure UIs instead of working within the Big Data pipeline is wild. This would probably save me about 20% of my current workload right off the bat if

Do you have a source for that? Not disagreeing, but I'd be very interested in reading up on how a high-rise might negatively impact my health seeing as I live in one right now.
