Personally also hate the let’s charge extra for SSO but at least with Clubhouse I can login with Google (G Suite account) and use the free product, as that’s what I just did a couple of hours ago to kick the tires.

Not sure if the author is limited by his trial account but to get more than 6.5GB of memory you need to dial up the number of cores which then gives you up to 64 cores and 416 GB memory

I feel your pain, when building my sites and if I use a 3rd party js/css cdn I use the only one I have found that has ICP and a damn good list of western nodes - jsdelivr.com

Yes for sure, think about what Google etc had as teams before they all launched their cloud compute services, I would bet they all had abuse mitigation teams. In this case I would figure there is an overlap of the team and tooling that keep

Yep - currently rolling my own on GCE but would really love them to roll out managed service to handle failover. Hopefully now that their v2 has gone GA it releases someone to work on adding new db types.

I am in Shanghai and CloudFlare seems to suffer from rolling blocks mostly against SSL content. We notice as we have a ecommerce site behind their service, our customer are in the EU so no bother really just a pain sometime to get their ord

It's CloudFlare the firewall seems to be blocking sometimes, I am in Shanghai and HN comes and goes at random. Plus I notice the same thing on other CF sites. China is a pain for almost all CDNs

Watch for a drop in China traffic, HTTPS Wikipedia is blocked but HTTP is not.
