Huion? I've heard sanded down (so they fit in the port) USB C cables that support DP output works.

Welcome to the world of ergo niche keyboards. Basically everything that isn't a Microsoft Ergo or clone is $200+ and it only gets more expensive as you get further from that. An alternative to this is building one yourself.

Mine seems to accept it and just strip it. I'm not sure the exact HDCP version it accepts but I can capture a Blu-ray from my PS3 with it which you are not normally supposed to do (it won't even play Blu-rays over component).

There is the org-noter package for emacs that will do a similar thing with PDFs but for org mode instead of markdown.

There's utilities like keyd and kmonad to remap keys system wide on Linux. I've used keyd because the config is simpler for what I want. Works in tty, X11, remote. Also does layers and other fancy tricks.

For a phone. Android has set the bar incredibly low. Kobo has supported their $130 Kobo Touch eReader from 2011 longer than any iOS device. On PCs its trivial to run modern software even on ancient hardware like a Pentium 4 with Linux/

It wasn't good then either. Still a bloated mess and even worse you were more forced to use it as literally nothing else could do something like put a CBZ in a 3rd party app unless it happened to support Dropbox or something similar. I

The GC didn't ship with a modem at all even in early not cost reduced models. There may have been some bundles with a modem for PSO1&2 or Homeland but there was only 4 games in its entire library that could even go online. The Drea

My physical book library is not very big. Maybe 30 books and a lot are just textbooks I should probably get rid of with few exceptions. I deliberately got rid of a lot of them. I rarely buy physical books anymore. I think I bought 1 in the

I recently briefly tried Nix and yeah the language seems a bit tough with not too many resources floating around. I really don't want to learn a whole language just for my package manager. But then I discovered Guix which is inspired b

Can't you just deactivate the Home license and then install Pro? Or just try installing Pro then deactivating the Home license? I only have Pro keys attached to my account but I've shuffled them about between different computers.

Not for the internet but Wii U uses 5GHz for streaming to the gamepad.

A lot of low end consumer devices don't. For example the PS Vita supports N but not 5GHz, nor do most kindles until the latest Paperwhite. It was also super common for cheap $400 laptops in 2011 to have N but not 5Ghz support.

There is 5GHz N. Not as common in devices or routers though.

Well you lose full screen benefits of going full screen like no menu bar, no window title bar, the dock hides even if you normally like it not-hidden. Yeah you can use rectangle or BTT or one of the other dozens of the third party apps to d

Several of those are clearly ripping off assets from Windows minesweeper. Which is worse than mimicking gameplay. There's also no Wordle iOS app either, just a website. Apple also happily accepted 2048 which is pretty much a straight u

The latest version of Firefox (97) at least claims to run on Android 5.0 which is from 2014. It runs fine on my Retroid Pocket which is on Android 6. So at the very least that's available. EDIT: Chrome 98 also works on Android 6.

Does the narrator need to be involved in making edits, re-listen to recorded book, cutting and rearranging unwanted silences? Other than the occasional line redo if something is flubbed or off I don't see how that involves the narrator

Shitty software? My 2018 Mac Mini would crash every single time going to sleep on the last version of Mojave. I'm not alone in this as there's huge threads on MacRumors and Apple's support forum about it. Apple's "f

It only took about 1000 years for designers to stop mucking about around with Chinese characters. Hopefully by the year 3000 the save icon will also be cemented.

Already exist. Samsung made the Gear IconX with 4GB built in. I don't think they make them anymore though. Sony also makes the waterproof in ear Walkman, not airpods style but more traditional wireless headphones.

How much of the population do you think is actively involved in the protests right now? We should bow down and throw away our government for 1% of angry people? 0.01%? This just sounds like a recipe for chaos. A middle school could topple t
