300K is on the lower end of salaries, esp. over 8 years. This is also just run-of-the-mill individual contributors that got in very late. Early employees, senior/leads/managers/directors/vp will make substantially more.

Not sure where you live, but 800 sqft condos are going for like $800K here in Toronto. SFH under 2000 sqft are going for well $1.5M. Inventory is near all time lows.

They guarantee spot rate to dollar for every transaction - so businesses never need to take that risk if they don't want to. They are mandating that merchants must accept it as a means of transaction though.

Software is near impossible to estimate. Things that can be done in 1 day can sometimes take 2 weeks. And something that seems like it should take weeks can take hours. Then you factor in the huge difference in approaches, skill, efficiency
