Very cool! I was just today thinking I should have an AI help me design a new piece of furniture I've been thinking about, and send it off to a CNC shop. The MCP server seems to have a bug. The tool list flashes for a second in Claude

In the last few months I have been building an AI assistant that is quite possibly saving my life. It's an iOS app that uses LLMs to estimate and track nutrients and calories in all the food I eat. It is plugged in to Apple Health so i

Wow, I’ve had it for 15 years and until now I’ve never thought it may be connected to also being «treated» for glue ear as a kid. Do you have more info on this and how you came to that conclusion?

A particularly pronounced version of this can often be seen by letting 2 agents review and code in a loop. One agent will find some problems with the code, the other agent will address the review by adding more code. A good human developer

Code reviews should be done by someone other than the author though, so the only thing that changes with ai generated code in that respect is the amount of it

I read their point as why have passwords at all when the security is you having access to your email account.

In relation to the client (AI Agent), the MCP server is serving resources like tools, but in relation to your platform that hosts the API those tools call, it is a client.

Curiously, Scipio is also arguably one of the most famous family names from Roman Antiquity. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scipio_Africanus

I share your frustration on services that won’t let you automate them, but to me that’s precisely what generative AI will let you do. You don’t need an API at the family doctors to have AI automate it for you. It just rings them up and sort

Lowering the speed limit where there are sidewalks next to cars driving seems to work well in Europe. But that also requires policing of those speed limits so they are not considered mere suggestions by drivers.

While you’re correct that you would see the same graphs if drivers had become exemplary, observing traffic in SF anecdotally point towards the opposite. It’s frankly shocking.

I still love going to the movies, but I stay with my 40-seat local. Grab some popcorn, a cold can of beer or glass of wine and settle in. Always showing great, old classics too. Best cinema experience I’ve ever had.
