I highly recommend just getting out of Anthropic's (or anyone's) vendor lock-in. Use opencode or pi. You can still use your subscription pricing using a proxy. I switched to opencode and haven't looked back.

FYI, you can use your Claude subscription pricing with OpenCode via Meridian[0], which also makes it easier to try out other models when they come out. You can also use your other subscriptions in OpenCode with CLIProxyAPI[1]. The switching

I had a very similar experience. The combination of Claude going down frequently and the hype around open source models was enough for me to swap my harness from Claude Code to OpenCode. Then it became trivial to test out different models,

+1 for Paseo. Switched over to it a few weeks ago from conductor.build then superset.sh. The mobile app plus Hetzner VPS has been really enjoyable in terms of just firing off random tasks and not being stuck at my desk.
