I bought an $800 gaming laptop 6 years ago, formatted everything and installed windows. Handles 100% of my dev work inc emulators and media editing. If I could recommend something, it would be to look for similar. A SSD + Name Brand Video C

5G solves different problems. Panasonic(at a trade show) says they can do 'next gen GPS' with 5g. Basically better location. This could be the solution for the winter problem in self driving cars.

I'm the other way, google is probably the best company in my lifetime. Its recent Apple exploit 0day, I'm a bit skeptical of the programming. Google has the resources to make better products.

AI in 2019 is useful math + programming. AI in books is impossible in 2019. I don't cringe, but then again, my boss is really happy with the AI program I built. Maybe its time to change definitions or terms.

Okay, but as much as we believe profitable companies are run by idiots, they arent. They need to stay profitable or create profit, so they hire technical managers that know that AI is really just finding uses for data. All of tech is magic
