   They're already "broken" on Chrome for a few versions now, we switched all `.dev`s to `.localhost` in dev environments at my company.

   I see where you're coming from - definitely not an easy problem to solve though, from my experience other free learning web apps can't do without accounts either.(Duoling, Codecademy, etc). Maybe my views are outdated about this,

    Full disclosure - I work for Teamwork.com, but I use the Teamwork Projects[1] free plan for a few of my side projects and haven't found an easier alternative, you can adjust the "lightweightness" per project and just turn off
