I actually think that "many women" isn't exaggeration. Similar issues are discussed frequently in many forums. It's only you don't know what you don't know! Edit: Ok. I exaggerated. But we really don't know.

I think "carrying-cost" is ok. Perhaps not for newbies, but for seasoned developers it's clear what this is about without translations.

The losts are in revenues, not units. It's entirely possible that people opt for lower priced computers instead of iPads.

It looks like an entry about what Java can learn from Erlang. It's not about learning Erlang. I am pretty sure Java guys know quite well about various memory models. But early Java was kind of experimental, so backward compatibility affects
