MacOS doesn't "just work" if you install it on non-Apple hardware. Most of the time it won't even boot. Nuff said.

I've been running Ubuntu devel for 2 years. This is no different. Please stop reposting trivial non-news.

No. It's using devel, plus a script that turns off the warnings apt produces because of the symlink devel in reality is on the mirrors.

People on HN seem to be unable to run mail servers. It's not that hard.

Uceprotect is a scam. Ignore it. Using it for inbound email is a misconfiguration.

In my experience (long years as consultant/admin in the MSP business), it's always the database server or the network that is too slow, and it's never the SQL query or missing indexes. Cough magento cough </s>

According to popular HN opinion, nobody runs servers anymore. Hipster coders leveraging AWS techno BS are never going to realize they are absolutely clueless and burning money by the ton. Same as in the gaming industry. Why bother starting

You can't find a fix if you "just redeploy". To find a root cause, I need to look at the broken thing. If you hit restart, the only thing I can guarantee is that the fault will occur again. This is newbie hipster webdeveloper

Don't use third party chargers on A1706 or A1708 MacBook Pros. Doing so will kill a charge IC. It's well documented and I fix one or two of these logic board faults every month.

Charging from the wrong side will also fry a charge IC. That's what partially pays my bills, my business offers MacBook board repair.
