Primer is a really dry reference. It was too boring for me to read it in order. Too many details on not very fun topics from the beginning.

This is incorrect technically. Oracle has already won API copyrightability claim. http://www.wsj.com/articles/supreme-court-denies-google-appe... The trial now is about Google's "fair use" of those APIs

I've used slimv a bit to play with Common Lisp. It's very handy for sending sexps from vim to repl. Not sure about advanced emacs' slime/swank features. I think it's difficult to find a person which used both editors for Lisp coding to ma
