might be worth pointing out that this happened in Transnistria ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transnistria ) a part of Moldova that has stronger political ties to Russia than to Moldova. It's complicated.

Move to Berlin and find a decent startup. Plenty of challenging jobs but more importantly you'll find there's a much better work-life balance. It's still up to you to put your time to good use.

if you want something that scales better use minhash. You get a similarity that is approx jaccard but with a lower footprint memory and cpu wise.

If I were to implement this I'd rather use google's prediction api. At least with that you get a bit of control over what goes into the training data.

Thing is most of us didn't come there for the prize. Personally I already had an idea in the back of my head, just went in to do an MVP(which I did) and in the process maybe meet some new people. But then ... the cleanberlin guy wins.
