If you have a backup of the site - you can install a caching plugin. That will help with the load until you can move to Cloudflare or move the hosting to WPEngine.

Thanks Dan! Amazon is far from perfect, but they are the Walmart of the web. Small players need to be better, and hopefully know that Amazon.com is not the standard for which they should aim.

Very nice. I really appreciate the dropdown formatting selector box. I use Textile in Basecamp and find myself intermixing/confusing it's formatting with Markdown because the two are CLOSE but not exact.

Groupon is guaranteed marketing in the sense that people will purchase the Groupon offer. Is Groupon the best and most effective marketing tool...that will reach your target audience? No.

They may be the biggest PC maker, but I would not say that is because they make great PCs-they just make A LOT of them. HP used to make great printers and servers. I hope they can get back to a place where they do SOMETHING well.

Forget lowering prices, if you cannot get customers into your business than you really need to take a step back and review your current marketing efforts. What can be done to get more of your target customers in the door - and to keep that

Thanks, Andrew! I would never work for Groupon or anyone else - so I would make a very bad puppet. ;) I didn't even mean to sound like I was endorsing Groupon. Groupon = marketing laziness (IMHO)

Not a Groupon sockpuppet at all. I just didn't have a blogger account tied to my Google Apps account. I am not a frequent Blogger commenter.

Testing and finding the right methods for your individual audience is the best thing you can do. I am just not a fan of showing a distraction to someone willing to give you money.

I personally was/am having a hard time with items being in two places. The quick entry feature of Omnifocus made that the dumping ground for tasks, that then I would go into Basecamp to breakdown, explain, and assign. I have used spootnik
